Part-Time Brand Ambassador

Hutto Soap & Candle Company is growing, and we're looking for a creative, dependable, hands-on person to grow with us.

This part-time role is a great fit for someone who loves handmade products, enjoys connecting with people, and wants to be part of a small business where their work matters.

This is NOT a seasonal position - we're looking for someone who wants to be part of the team and grow with us. You'll help represent our brand at local markets, support behind-the-scenes tasks, and bring positive energy to a growing creative team.

Position Details

Schedule: Saturdays and some Sundays every week, plus occasional midweek markets, events, or business support shifts
Hours: Approximately 15-30 hours per week
Pay: Hourly, based on experience
Location: Hutto, TX and surrounding market/event locations

What You'll Do

• Work local vendor markets and create a welcoming customer experience
• Help customers choose candles, soaps, bath bombs, body products, gifts, and more
• Set up and break down market displays
• Restock, organize, price, label, and package products
• Prep inventory, supplies, and displays for markets, events, and online orders
• Assist with occasional midweek events, projects, or other hands-on business tasks
• Bring creative ideas and a positive attitude as we continue to grow

• Excited to grow with a small business over time

Requirements

• Must be available Saturdays and some Sundays
• Must have your own reliable transportation, as travel to markets and events is involved
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and assist with setup, breakdown, product transport, and other hands-on tasks
• Must be comfortable working at outdoor markets in varying Texas weather
• Previous retail, market, customer service, crafting, events, small business, or handmade product experience is a plus, but not required

Hutto Soap & Candle Company makes plant-based, eczema-friendly bath, body, candle, and home products. Our products are made without phthalates, parabens, dyes, sulfates, endocrine disruptors, or mutagens. We sell online, at local markets, and at events throughout Central Texas.
